Ink flows freely from my wounded chest, Splattering the floor as dripping blood. The carpet disappears under burning darkness, Becoming a sheet of shimmering night. You stare at me with grinning eyes. The quill carves smiles into your face. Laughing, laughing, always laughing. Can you not see that I am dying? Walls are lined with fading paper. The Death of a Pet

During the night, my dog, Baby, died of an apparent seizure.  She was about six years old.  She was an adorable little chihuahua/shih-tzu mix that loved begging for treats and jumping over any obstacles in her way. She also loved rolling all over the newspaper when people were trying to read.  I will miss her as I miss all of my past pets. Please enjoy these pictures of her as reminders of what a silly puppy she could be.
